 Web Tension Control, What's New

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

CLEVELAND, OH, Cleveland Motion Controls, Inc. announced today the launch of its new ULTRA Line Vacuum Duty UPB Load Cell for use in Vacuum environments. The new UPB features a 40:1 tension range and noise immunity for precise tension measurement on web processes.

This under-pillow-block style load cell offers an ideal solution for demanding vacuum environments, such as in the production of solar cells, metallized films and foils, and vacuum deposition of thin films or coatings on substrate.

The ULTRA Line UPB Vacuum Duty Load Cell is designed for use with pillow block bearings and rotating shaft installations. It has a compact low-profile block design that can be mounted at any angle and used for retrofit or for new machinery.
