MDM Stainless Steel Series Servo Motor

The MDM Stainless Steel product line, like our recently introduced H-Series, is based upon CMC's industry leading MDM technology, which provides energy efficient servo motors in popular industry standard frame size configurations. This new offering motor is ideal for use in food, beverage, dairy. pharmaceutical and personal care manufacturing and equipment applications.

 

In viewing the current offerings in this important market arena, CMC worked with key customers and engineers to ensure a comprehensive and complete product offering was made available to meet the needs of users and customers in need of cost effective sterile and hygienic applications.

 

CMC engineers designed our MDM based Stainless Steel Series motor product line to offer the following features and benefits:

Factory sealed cabling to simplify installation. Minimizing installation and setup time.
Full IP 67 Compliance with shaft seals. Maintains internal integrity and corrosion resistance in washdown environments.
Complete conformance to UL/cUL and CE Standards across the entire product line. Required industry defined standards conformance.
Thermostats on motor windings is standard for all configurations. Protection circuitry meets industry requirements.
Customized mounting and shaft options are available. Enables more flexible design options, and retrofit support.
Optional encoder line counts up to 5,000 ppr available for all configurations. Performance enhancement and feature convenience that allows CMC motors to be incorporated into a broader range of applications.
Optional resolver feedback available for all frame sizes. Flexible feedback configurations provide choices for demanding applications.
