Converting is a process by which a material, in a continuous or open loop machine, is transformed into a different size, shape or color than its original form. Printing, packaging, die cutting and coating are just a few of the processes used on a converting machine.

The material, originally in a rolled form, is fed and guided through the converting machine. Consistent and correct tension, on the material, throughout this process is necessary for a quality product.
